A few weeks after we get home from our honeymoon I look at Jon, “how about CEO and assistant? I’d like to see what you’d offer me to move up in the company?”
“Oh role playing huh? We’re back on that topic. I like that one. I also like vampire and fangbanger, you love vamps and I might like you biting me.”
“Oh I’ll bite you baby, anytime you want.” I smirked and slapped his butt.
“That’s not where I want you to bite and thats slapping sassy wife.”
“How far do you want to take the vampire thing? Do you actually wanna bite me?”
“Just a little baby, probably to leave a nice hicky.”
“You’re so naughty.” He smirked and then tightened his tie. “Hey babe I have to run to Philly today for some soul meetings so I won’t be home for dinner.”
“Ok hon see you later I’ve got a t-con to get on about Portland.” I kissed him and walked into my office wishing like hell this place wasn’t our home. No matter how I try I just can’t seem to consider this mansion home.
As Jon left for the day I took care of my job and during the day I walked around the house and took notes of what was everywhere, what I could live with and what I couldn’t. I then went back to my office and finished up my day. Packing my suitcase I brought it down to the front door before I made dinner.
Jon walked in at 7 and saw my suitcase by the door, losing his mind momentarily.
He screamed for me and I came out of the kitchen. “What?”
“When were you going to tell me?”
“Tell you what?”
“That you’re leaving me!”
“That you’re leaving me!”
I shook my head and pulled on my ear. “What? What planet are you on? Why would I leave you when I’ve waited so long to get you?”
"You're suitcase is by the door."

"Yes for work, I have to go to JC tonight remember?"
"Oh shit, I'm an ass." He admitted immediately."
"Yes you are." I don't coddle him. "you hot headed Italian. Are you still coming with? I set your suitcase by the bed but I didn't know what you'd want to wear."
"I'm so sorry honey, I don't have any meetings so anything is fine."
“Why don’t you go pack then?” I pretty much order him trying to keep my anger in check.
He didn’t dare argue with her and went upstairs quickly to pack himself some clothes. He called
down to me, “Baby do we have a hotel room tonight or do you want me to call for one?”
“Yes I took care of it.”
Jon came downstairs with his suitcase knowing he was completely in the dog house but really shocked that I haven’t screamed at him yet.
“Ok I’m ready. I’ll take our bags to the car.”
“The taxi isn’t here yet.”
“Aren’t we driving?”
“No Jon we’re taking the train.”
“The what?”
“You heard me, we’re taking the train. I want to know how long it takes so if I have to get there alone I can. We take a taxi to the station here in Red Bank and take a train to Hoboken and then go back 1 stop on a different route to Jersey City.”

“Baby you realize we can take a limo the whole way right?”
“Yes I do but I like trains and I don’t see why we have to waist hundreds of dollars for a limo when we can spend $10 on a train.”
“yes dear.” He smiled and took our luggage to the car. It wasn’t until we were on the train heading north that I asked him. “So what happened when you got home?”
“Honey I was being stupid can we just talk about something else?”
“No I wanna understand.”
“I was being dumb forgive me?”
“Of course I forgive you but you just admitted to be stupid and dumb and you are neither so what’s the truth?”
“The truth is that’s how Dot left. She had a suitcase at the door and when I walked in she handed me papers and walked out.” He admitted and wiped a tear away. I laced my fingers into his hand held his hand strongly. “Thank you for telling me angel but thats never going to happen with us. I love you with all of my heart and soul and I’ve waited forever to have you in my life there’s no way in hell that I’m giving you up 3 months after marrying you. Trust me babe I don’t give up easily, I’m strong and determined and I will fight for what’s mine until I can’t fight no more. You are mine, completely and forever so get used it.”
He pulled me to him and planted the deepest kiss on me before pulling back and running his hand into my hair. “I love you angel.” He then saw my tablet next me. “So what places have you found for us to live in?”
Love their talks and compromises. She is really helping to change how he thinks about things and not just do things like how he did them before with Dorothea. Plus nice how he tells her how he feels and based on the past he would think this even when it wasnt.
